It is now possible for your family and friends to rent the Hazelhut for holidays, subject to availability.  There are 17 beds and 2 cots available for one or more family to share. You can enjoy all the fantastic Hazelhut facilities while Ottavia and James can be called on for additional activities, to babysit in the evenings if adults want to try out the nearby restaurants, to give excellent local advice for day trips or to provide meals to take the pressure off while you relax.  The basic cost is 2,000 euros per 7 day week, which includes insurance, laundry, cleaning bills, breakfast and full use of the facilities.  Additional costs will be added for services such as airport pick up, babysitting, evening meals etc.  If you would like to know more or wish to make a booking, please contact us directly at: [email protected]

'My family and a friend's family rented the Hazelhut for one week in August 2015.  It is walking distance from the town of Ronciglione and the house and grounds are spacious and beautiful also the children really enjoyed the swimming pool and other facilities.  James and Ottavia welcomed us kindly and helped us to plan some local excursions, including to the thermal baths at Viterbo and to a local winery at Nepi, they also gave us some excellent advice about where to eat and what to do in the area; their bilingualism really helped too!  On a few occasions we used the baby sitting services and the children really enjoyed the art and sports activities organised at The Hazelhut while we enjoyed time away and the occasional quiet evening meal.  Otherwise we chose to self cater, although we asked Ottavia to cook for us on the last night and this was a delicious meal made from their own home grown produce. - A happy end to a super holiday!'  Cara Aitken, Edinburgh.
