Thank you to the students from the New school early years for coming to the Hazelhut to learn about winter. We really enjoyed showing you the garden and the woodlands and helping you to notice all the signs of winter.  We were very impressed with your knowledge and creative skills when we made a frieze of some of the things you saw on the walk.  We were also very impressed with your English language skills and super manners - you are welcome back any time!

 The next birthday of the year was celebrated yesterday for a Lazio fan who asked for a football themed event.  This was no problem for the Hazelhut, with our own referee, James ready for action. The children enjoyed a half hour mini football match as the sun went down, followed by food, cake presents and plenty of time to play with friends!  This lovely group of kids were so enthusiastic, friendly and kind; we hope they will come back to see us again at the Hazelhut.
 It was wonderful to welcome our first birthday girl of the new year yesterday. She and her friends enjoyed the full Hazelhut experience of art, craft, games and a treasure hunt and we thank the family for choosing the Hazelhut for this event. Don't forget to let us know if your child would like to celebrate their birthday at the Hazelhut!
