Our first activity of the day was blowing and decorating eggs. What a lot of fun!
Sadly we said 'goodbye' to one Hazelhutter who had to go home early..... But we cheered ourselves up by making a batch of cupcakes. Later in the day we decorated them with dried fruit and sugar flowers.
When the rain stopped falling, the children enjoyed some free time and played with the new walkie talkies.
After a lunch of sausages in buns and carrot sticks, the children listened to a story about the cops and robbers of London town and played with the musical instruments.
The weather improved so we headed outside to say 'hello' to Giuggiolina, Pingpong, Storm, Timidy and of course Floppy, Toppy and Brava. Then we took out the new archery equipment and hit some targets. Once the children had improved their skills, they made some great shots!
As usual hometime crept up on us all too fast.... Goodbye everyone, come back soon!
