Despite only having 5 children, we still went ahead with our under 8's day today and the 5 children who came had a super time.
This is because they are a curious bunch, interested in everything to do with the wildlife around the Hazelhut and not afraid to interact with it, from picking up insects to eating fruit from the trees.
They loved meeting the rabbits and collecting the hens' eggs.
They also loved using the art room to decorate flower pots which we later filled with our own compost and strawberry plant babies!
The children enjoyed our songs with actions
and story time
and outdoor games
and of course the treasure hunt!
