It was lovely to welcome back some previous Hazelhutters and to say hello to some new ones at the start of our first week of summer camp.
There was a clear boy/girl divide from the start and this came through in our first activity - designing a drinking cup..... And later in the choice of activities: football and making bracelets.
Then the boys wanted to play 'Perudo' and the girls relaxed.....
Dinner was a delicious lasagne with garden salad and the children all ate well. There was time for a play afterwards - the girls headed for the new tree house and the boys couldn't leave the football alone! Now they are all clean and getting ready for a DVD, but who will win the choice of films - boys or girls?
