It was a rainy morning when we woke up, perfect for some indoor art work.
Two new girls joined us and we designed and decorated flags together. Then we had a delicious snack and the sun came out!
Then the girls all got together to bake a fresh cherry cake, but all they really wanted to do was eat the ingredients!
Then the children got musical and some even dared to sing a karaoke tune or two!
For lunch we had the potatoes which the children dug up yesterday and pasta al pomodoro, plus, of course, warm cherry cake!
Thumbs up to everything! In the afternoon we played 'Up Jenkins!', 'Wink Swap' and various other games. It was hot enough to swim by 3pm and some of the children ventured into the woods to hunt for wild boar later!
Then we lit the camp fire for burgers, hot dogs and the infamous chocolate bananas!!! What a day!
