Like a brand new pitch! A newly improved building and fantastic spring weather! But where are the children? In Rome, of course! The Grade 6 students from the International School of Como had traveled all the way to Rome for a tour of the sites as part of a unit on ancient civilizations. James had planned a whistle stop tour of all the most important and inspirational sites, but first he had to check that all the children were honest at the 'Bocca della Verità'. There was so much to see, learn and think about. The students were great listeners and stayed together in the busy streets. They were grateful for the chance to buy an ice-cream and a souvenir at the end. The bus picked them up and they headed north to Ronciglione and the Hazelhut! It was evening when they arrived and heard the rules and then settled into their rooms. When we were ready for dinner, darkness had fallen. But that didn't bother these kids! We all made it to the restaurant in time for a delicious dinner of pasta, veal and potatoes followed by home-made crostata - YUM! Happy children and happy teachers.
