Yesterday at the Hazelhut 13 children came to celebrate a birthday. We did so many fun things together. It all started with a lunch of pizza, crisps and salad.
For the art activity we used special pens and shiny stickers to decorate flower pots. We hope the children will use them to grow some flowers.
Then it was time for a walkie talkie treasure hunt. The birthday boy was in charge of guiding 2 teams to a series of places to pick up clues. When both teams returned, they were given an envelope with a final clue - piecing together all the evidence, they were successful in finding the treasure!
Then there was time for some free time and most of the children chose to play in the sunshine!
Later we made and decorated cupcakes for the party.
The final activity was the now infamous 'chocolate game'.......
.....and no one has ever won it like THAT before!
