Another day at the Hazelhut and another team doing jobs - first of the day: to feed Boris and Stiva.
Once the room inspection was complete, we started our first activity with a chat about pollution and the problems of plastic... we came up with the idea of making long life shopping bags from old T-shirts and using bleach to make interesting patterns on them.
James and Ottavia were very happy to see their old clothes re-purposed for shopping trips of the future.... and what fashionable items they are too!
It was windy again today, but we managed to have our snack and lunch outside again.
In the afternoon the children did many different things from playing games....
..to making ice cream....
....to playing with Pip...
...to baking cakes!
The children finally had a chance to do the treasure hunt from Monday and followed the clues, traversing the land with a compass and walkie talkie to discover the treasure.
Just before dinner we had a sing song.
Then we had pizza for dinner followed by home made ice cream and coconut cups - DELICIOUS!
