The Hazelhutters begged us to change the trip today to fishing, so at half past nine we headed off to the sporting lake.
The children were not entirely sure about the bait and initially they wondered if they had made a mistake....
... furthermore the wind was up, so nothing was biting.
Then gradually the teams started to catch fish...
...and more fish!
After 2 hours they had caught almost 80 fish!
As usual the kids couldn't wait to get to lunch, which was booked in a very smart restaurant in the beautiful village of Sutri. The meal at 'Vescovado' was delicious and plentiful and we all came out feeling very satisfied!
Later at the Hazelhut the children enjoyed terrorising each other in the pool!
Then we prepared some more treats for the tea party tomorrow.
And some ice cream for tonight.
Before heading down to the camp fire for burgers.
Despite a bumped head and a marshmallow burn..... we still all managed to enjoy our last night together!
