Today we visited the local town on foot. There was so much to see in such a small place. We toured the medieval and eighteenth century districts of the town and the children noted six of the nine churches. We had a competition to draw the central fountain then went in search of things to buy.
We had lunch in a beautiful restaurant and took the time to write postcards to our loved ones. Then we headed back up the hill to the Hazelhut.
Luca and Sam had to pack their bags on returning and then took a final dip in the pool. Their parents arrived and everyone was sorry to say goodbye, but we all felt sure this would not be the last time we all met at the Hazelhut.
