Despite a last minute cancellation, we decided to go ahead with day 1 of our winter weekend with only 4 children. The small numbers did not stop us having a huge amount of fun, starting with decorating the Christmas tree - a bamboo from the Hazelhut grounds! Then we started making pompom birds to hang on our trees at home.
We also made cloth bags using the sewing machine, complete with Christmas bells!
We listened to a Christmas story about 2 bears and everyone was very excited about the treasure hunt. Sadly the bad weather meant it was indoors, but we still had lots of fun!
We made cards for our parents.....

Sang carols and when it stopped raining we even got the chance to say hello to the chickens.....
But all too soon it was time to go home. Merry Christmas Saturday kids!!!!
