It seems to have been a week of saying 'goodbye' as so many children have come and gone, but today was the final farewell for the 4 children from Scotland before everyone got up and later for everyone else. The remaining 2 girls picked flowers in the morning to decorate our ceremonial table. Then the children went about their business cleaning their rooms and packing their bags ready for home. Once that was complete, we played a bilingual 'Kim's Game'. Then we headed into town for shopping, lunch and a look round the village. Everyone was feeling the heat as we headed up the hill back to the Hazelhut, but before we knew it, the first cars were arriving! At the ceremony the Sports champs were announced as well as the winners of the tidiest room and the top Hazelhutter of the week. Then it was time for another rendition of our famous song! It has been one of the most memorable weeks at the Hazelhut and we want to thank all the children who came and all the people who made it possible!
