We split the group in 2 this morning and one group worked on survival skills - putting up a tent, sawing chopsticks from bamboo and lighting a fire with flint and steel. The other group worked in the cool of the artroom making a 'forever' bag to take home. They showed that they care a lot about our planet's future and many chose to make anti-pollution messages. Even the youngest children made their own sandwiches and we had a delicious picnic lunch. After lunch we went indoors to cool down and learn the Hazelhut song. Then a few of the children gave musical recitals. Later there was time for afternoon fun at the pool! One group made some biscuits for Friday. And we all enjoyed some delicious sausages and salad for dinner! All the children are tired but happy after another busy day at the Hazelhut.
