Hot sunshine gave us only one choice for today's trip - to the lake! 'Riva Verde' was even more green than usual as they have renovated and restructured since last year - wonderful!
The water was very clean and the children loved playing in the lake and looking at the wildlife.
James' barbecuing skills were up to their usual standards as we ate delicious chicken skewers in buns and some children even had a hotdog too!
After lunch there was time to learn the Hazelhut song and take another dip.
Back at the Hazelhut, it was time to bake some treats for tomorrow's tea party.
