What a super day we have had with some smashing little Hazelhutters! With the sun shining, we spent a lot of time outside. The first stop was, of course, the piglets. We ate our lunch outside too and even though these children are all young, they each made their own sandwiches! After lunch there was time to play with Pip and relax in the sun. The kids enjoyed an outdoor treasure hunt and were very fair when sharing out the booty. Naturally we had to go and collect the eggs and say 'hello' to Fluffy and Smokey as well. The chestnut forest can't be missed at this time of year either, with its carpet of cyclamen and orchids - so we went there too. Some strange animal noises spooked out the children so we returned to the house. Indoors the children enjoyed working in the art room. They did some singing and dancing and making music and they enjoyed a quiet story too. Our next day for children under 8 is May 5th. Please contact us if you would like to join in the fun!
