Once we had eaten fresh eggs for breakfast and sorted out the bedrooms, it was time to say hello to the animals and walk around the grounds.
The children picked flowers.....
....discovered where the boar get in!
And climbed trees. We spent some time in the art room making signs to take home - we used spray paint and decorative pens.
Then it was time for us to get ready for our trip into Ronciglione.
On the way we found a dead snake!!!
But it didn't put anyone off their food at our favourite restaurant - 'Corte dei Prefetti di Vico'!
Back at the Hazelhut, the children DEMANDED another game of 'Splat!'.....
All too soon it was time to go home and it's so quiet without you!!! Come again soon.
